Shriners Children's Northern California seeks a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our all-physician anesthesia group focused on clinical excellence, research, and resident training.

You'll develop expertise in regional anesthesia within a robust program, collaborating with Pediatric Regional Anesthesiologists, and enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with rare evening and weekend cases, with call from home and a minimal call-back rate.

Qualificações

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology by the ABA, with subspecialty in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Eligibility for active and unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.
• Eligibility for active DEA license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and PALS certifications.
• Credentialing and privileging by the medical staff per hospital bylaws.
• Strong understanding of pediatric physiology, pharmacology, and anesthesia-specific considerations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized pediatric care plans.
• Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
• Monitor vitals and anesthetic depth across perioperative phases.
• Manage airway techniques and advanced airway management for pediatrics.
• Respond to intraoperative complications and emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, pediatricians, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Provide postoperative pain management and regional anesthesia follow-up.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Contribute to training and supervision of residents, fellows, or students.
