Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Anesthesiology Assistant to provide perioperative anesthesia care for pediatric and general cases at the offsite Children's Ambulatory Center. You will assist in pre-, intra-, and post-operative evaluation and management under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.

The role requires current certification as an AA, SC licensure or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS per requirements.

Qualifications

• Certified AA via NCCAA program.
• Current license or eligibility in SC.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative management for anesthesia services.
• Evaluate patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Operate anesthesia equipment and monitor patients.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical team.
