Keck Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Surgical Technician II for the OP Surgery Center HC3 on a full-time, 10-hour rotating shift. Under RN guidance, you will assist the surgical team, prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and support OR flow.

This role requires a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technician program completion, CST certification, BLS, and recent surgical tech practice.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technician program is required.
• 1 year experience as Surgical Technician or as a Surgical Technician intern (paid) required.

Aufgaben

• Assist surgical team in OR; prepare, sterilize, and clean equipment and instruments.
• Maintain aseptic technique and respond to intraoperative crises.
• Mentor and/or lead other surgical technicians and participate in training of students.
