Job summary

ORLANDO HEALTH ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse Navigator for the Out Patient Oncology Clinic. This full-time role focuses on seamless navigation and care transitions, serving as the point of contact for patients and families, and coordinating across the care continuum.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per nursing process and standards, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support professional development and patient education.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Maintains Florida RN license and BLS certification.
• Two years of RN experience; oncology/navigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process and navigation standards.
• Coordinate and manage patient care transitions across the continuum; act as primary contact for patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless navigation and care coordination.
• Precept team members and support orientation and professional growth.
