Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Ambulatory Pediatrics (Complex Care) in Phoenix to join a collaborative outpatient team. The role focuses on telephone triage, care coordination, and in-clinic support in a busy pediatric clinic.

You will work with families of medically complex children, coordinating with multiple specialists and community resources to promote optimal health outcomes and safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2+ years pediatric nursing experience
• Ambulatory pediatric experience preferred (inpatient acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and care coordination (approx. 90%)
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and community resources
• Support clinic visits with patient/family education, device care (trachs, feeding tubes, G-tubes) and specimen collection
• Partner with providers and interdisciplinary teams to support medically complex patients
