Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Navigator to join the Outpatient Solid Tumor Nurse Navigator team. You will guide children and families through complex cancer treatments, coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings, admissions, and survivorship planning.

The role emphasizes care coordination, education, advocacy, and seamless transitions, with a team of navigators supporting approximately 1,425 patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and active Ohio RN license.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience in oncology or related fields.
• Licensure and certifications as required; board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services to ensure continuity.
• Serve as primary contact for patients and families through their treatment journey.
• Facilitate referrals, diagnostic testing and follow-up appointments.
• Support transitions of care and advocate for patient goals and safety.
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
