Job summary

Camelot Care Center in Logansport, Indiana, is seeking compassionate Activity Assistants to support our pediatric skilled nursing team. You will assist the Activity Director in creating meaningful programs, encouraging participation, and helping with records and paperwork.

The role involves helping with seasonal activities, bulletin boards, and initial activity interest assessments, while coordinating with other departments to deliver holistic resident care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English, and communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on time.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment.
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.
