Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an ABA Technician to assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team, and apply behavior change procedures under supervision. You will engage with children, adults, and families, provide empathetic support, and uphold high standards of customer service in a diverse workplace.

Qualification requirements include RBT certification or BCABA preferred, knowledge of ASD, and on‑the‑job ABA

Qualifications

• Ability to establish positive working relationships with patients and families.
• Ability to function as a member of the treatment team and apply behavior principles.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ABA principles from training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members.
• Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.
• Technicians must function as a member of the treatment team.
• Understands the principles of behaviorally based programming and design.
• Sustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities.
• Utilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors.
• Apply ABA processes for behavior modification.
