Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in the Capitol District area is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to provide direct ABA instruction in home, clinic, and community settings. Responsibilities include collaborating with a BCBA and other therapists, communicating with families, collecting data, and maintaining confidentiality.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with special needs children 2–21, or current enrollment in relevant programs; ABA

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working with special needs children ages 2–21 in a supervised setting or current enrollment in related undergraduate/graduate program.
• ABA training or experience preferred.
• Completion of 20-hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and competency exam upon completion of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate regularly with families, providing debriefs and actionable strategies for home and community use.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child’s program book weekly.
