Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in the Capital District area is seeking part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support children with autism and developmental disabilities.

You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with BCBA and other therapists on cases, communicate with families, collect daily data, and maintain confidentiality in line with state and federal regulations. Travel to cases is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2–21 in supervised setting.
• Currently enrolled in or has completed an undergrad/grad program in psychology, healthcare, education, or a related field.
• Experience using ABA is preferred.
• Completion of 20-hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing the competency exam after training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
