Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists in the Nassau and Suffolk County area. You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with a BCBA and therapy team, and communicate with families to support home and community programs.

Requirements include 2+ years working with special needs children (ages 2–21) or enrollment in an undergrad/grad program in psychology, healthcare, or related field; ABA experience preferred; completion of the

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children and families.
• At least 2 years working with special needs children (ages 2–21) in a supervised setting.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Achieve Beyond 20-hour training and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the plan by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate frequently with family members and provide debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and update the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
