Job summary

Agile Building Solutions in Phoenix is seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician (Pedestal Builder) to support the production of custom shower bases. You will safely construct wooden pedestals, measure precisely, follow drawings, and perform quality checks.

The role uses hand and power tools, requires basic carpentry experience, and a high school diploma. Work is 2nd shift, 1:00 pm–9:30 pm, with occasional overtime. Join a safety-minded team dedicated to quality and on-time production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous carpentry, woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Build wooden pedestals used to support custom shower base products.
• Follow drawings, measurements, work instructions, and established build guidelines.
• Safely operate tools including rulers, saws, pneumatic nail guns, drills, impact drivers, and sanders.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish materials accurately.
• Perform quality checks on shower bases and pedestal components received for production.
• Identify and report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or quality issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment and notify appropriate personnel when repairs are needed.
• Monitor materials and inventory and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using proper housekeeping practices.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Assist other production departments when needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
