Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a technically skilled support engineer in Seattle to maintain and optimize core retail payment systems. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and high service quality.

You will work in an Agile environment, document troubleshooting steps, and support PED rollout initiatives across retail environments while building strong relationships with store partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of solid experience in technical support, helpdesk operations, retail technology support, or related environments.
  • Experience working in Agile projects.
  • Capable of conceptualizing latest technology landscape requirements and driving technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of various technology components and their capabilities.
  • Knowledgeable in software distribution, deployment, and support processes.
  • Experience performing general network troubleshooting and connectivity issue resolution.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Meraki, and Splunk.
  • Experience with remote management tools and supporting geographically distributed users and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate empathy towards store partners and proactively identify opportunities to improve support experiences.
  • Establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business, technology, and store partners.
  • Communicate complex ideas and technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
