Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager in Pearl City, HI to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate with the Operations Team, manage turnovers, review submittals, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability while maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication.

The role requires leadership, BP reading, and multi-project supervision with strict adherence to schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organization and prioritization to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with federal and state regulations in construction.
Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Maintain direct communication with the Operations Team to align on goals, timelines and resource needs.
Provide timely updates on project and staff-related issues to the Operations Manager.
Facilitate turnover from estimating to project team with clear scope, budget and expectations.
Review and approve work plans and submittals for compliance with specs and regulations.
Prepare and submit DOH notifications as needed for applicable projects.
Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate site access and logistics.
Arrange site access including keys, parking, and other logistics for startup.
