Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking a motivated Project Manager in Honolulu to oversee construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include coordinating turnover, reviewing plans and budgets, and ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and profitability.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work at project sites and in-office, and experience in construction. In-state applicants preferred for rapid interviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work both in the office and at project sites.
• Experience in construction and contracting preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project turnover from estimating to operations.
• Review project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and coordinate project logistics.
• Arrange site access, permits, parking, and other project requirements.
• Ensure field teams have resources, materials, and information for project execution.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity, and profitability.
• Conduct regular job site visits and address project challenges.
• Track schedules and performance to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Identify and manage change order opportunities.
• Collaborate with field personnel, subcontractors, and management to resolve issues.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Review project documentation and labor records for accuracy.
• Support progress billing, project closeout, and contract administration.
