Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP, a leader in financial transformation, seeks a Manager to drive finance and accounting transformation engagements for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. You will help clients optimize operating models, strengthen accounting processes, accelerate reporting, and build scalable infrastructure supporting growth, acquisitions, and exit readiness.

You will lead workshops with CFOs and senior leaders, develop roadmaps, and guide ERP/EPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance transformation, accounting advisory, consulting, or a related finance/accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes including R2R, O2C, P2P, close, reporting, and working capital.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting assessments focused on scalability, reporting reliability, operational efficiency, and transaction readiness.
• Manage transformation initiatives spanning Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and controllership functions.
• Evaluate current state finance operating models and design future state processes aligned to growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve close processes, working capital performance, controls, reporting, and finance organization effectiveness.
• Lead workshop sessions with CFOs, Controllers, PE operating partners, and executive leadership teams.
• Develop actionable roadmaps, business cases, implementation plans, and executive-level recommendations.
• Support ERP, EPM, and finance technology initiatives, including process redesign and operational readiness.
• Assist portfolio companies with post-acquisition integration, carve-out activities, and exit readiness initiatives.
• Serve as day-to-day engagement leader responsible for project execution, quality, budget management, and client satisfaction.
