Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a senior leader to guide finance transformation initiatives for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies. You will drive scalable operating models, strengthen accounting processes, and accelerate reporting across R2R, O2C, P2P, and controllership functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance transformation, accounting advisory, consulting, or a related finance/accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, including R2R, O2C, P2P, close, reporting, and working capital.
• Experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, or operating model initiatives.
• Strong project management, analytical, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting assessments focused on scalability, reporting reliability, operational efficiency, and transaction readiness.
• Manage transformation initiatives spanning R2R, O2C, P2P, and controllership functions.
• Evaluate current state finance operating models and design future state processes aligned to growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve close processes, working capital performance, controls, reporting, and finance organization effectiveness.
• Lead workshop sessions with CFOs, Controllers, PE operating partners, and executive leadership teams.
