Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a finance transformation professional with 5+ years of consulting or public accounting experience to lead client engagements focused on R2R, financial close, and reporting improvements. The ideal candidate will drive process automation and ERP-enabled improvements, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize reporting efficiency and close cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting, public accounting, finance transformation, accounting operations, or corporate finance.
• Experience with financial close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, or R2R processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, close automation, account reconciliation, or finance transformation technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of end-to-end finance processes including R2R, financial and management reporting, close optimization, ERP-enabled process improvement, and FP&A enhancements across client engagements.
• Lead portions of client engagements and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and reporting efficiency.
• Support and lead engagement activities throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and design through implementation and delivery.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior team members and supporting client relationship management.
