Lamphere Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional Substitute for Physical Education for a 5-week Edustaff assignment at Page Middle School. The role supports grades 6-8 during PE classes and reports to the supervising teachers.

Start date is August 31, 2026, with a end date of October 2, 2026. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be reliable and punctual, and able to provide small group support, supervise activities, and adapt to varied student needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with middle school students preferred.
• Ability to lead small groups with teacher support.
• Collaborate effectively with staff and students.
• Reliable with strong attendance record.

Responsabilités

• Support teacher with academic and social needs of students.
• Provide small group/whole group support at stations during core time.
• Offer movement or relaxation breaks for students as needed.
• Assist students during behavioral outbursts to keep instruction on track.
• Support lunch/break periods to help students navigate unstructured time.
• Work with teachers and staff to maintain attendance and reliability.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
