Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer for Fort Hood, TX to evaluate structural integrity, review designs, and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements. US citizenship and successful background check/drug screen are required.

The candidate will collaborate with government personnel, design teams, and contractors, perform site visits, attend meetings, and provide QA oversight throughout design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years as structural engineer.
• Experience on federal construction projects preferred.
• Willingness to perform site visits and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate structural integrity of facilities and review designs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
• Provide QA oversight and safety coordination on site.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with contractors.
• Document progress and report on construction activities.
• Assist in interpreting contractual provisions for structural deliverables.
• Provide recommendations for structural enhancements.
• Support design reviews and comments on contractor designs.
