Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer for Fort Hood, TX. You will evaluate structural integrity, review designs, and ensure code compliance throughout design and construction. Regular site visits and coordination with government personnel and contractors are expected.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of experience, and preference for federal project background. U.S. citizenship and background screening are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
Experience on federal construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the structural integrity of facilities and systems.
Review and approve structural design plans.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with construction teams.
Provide QA/QC oversight and safety guidance.
Document progress and report on construction activities.
