Job summary

Intrinsic LLC in Denver seeks a Director to lead financial due diligence engagements from the front, owning the analytical work and client conversations while developing junior talent in a private, employee-owned TAS practice.

You will drive engagement leadership for buy-side and sell-side diligence across industries, perform quality of earnings analyses, and deliver clear, actionable conclusions to PE sponsors and deal teams, with strong client relationship management and team development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in financial due diligence at a Big 4 TAS or Deals practice or similar
• Proven track record leading quality of earnings analyses and full-scope due diligence
• Deep command of US GAAP in transaction contexts: EBITDA normalization, working capital, debt-like items

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for PE sponsors, lenders, and corporate acquirers
• Direct quality of earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, debt and debt-like item identification
• Manage all aspects of engagement execution: scoping, workplan design, request list management, timeline oversight
• Identify and escalate transaction risks with clarity for high-stakes decisions
• Produce and review financial due diligence reports for PE partners and deal teams
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact on active engagements
• Lead interviews with target company finance teams and executives
• Present findings to sophisticated stakeholders with direct, well-supported messaging
• Develop client relationships and position Intrinsic as a trusted diligence partner
• Lead deal-team coaching and mentorship, and contribute to TAS practice development
• Recruiting, training, and professional development initiatives within TAS
• Contribute to business development and firm-wide growth initiatives
• Help build TAS intellectual capital and standardized methodologies
