Engineering Design & Testing Corp. is seeking a civil/structural engineer with a valid PE license to lead field investigations, assess damage, and recommend repairs for varied structures. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate testing, and communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and the ability to handle diverse assignments with regional travel requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience in structural design, construction, and/or construction management.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
Troubleshooting skills and curiosity for root cause analysis.
Ability to carry equipment to jobsites.

Responsibilities

Conducting and managing field investigations, interviews, and structural analysis.
Assessing damage, building-code compliance, and repair scope.
Coordinating laboratory and field testing of materials.
Managing multiple projects in varying progress stages.
Prepare oral and written reports for clients and non-technical audiences.
Travel regionally; additional travel may be required.
