Job summary

Lerch Bates, a global technical consulting firm, seeks a Building Enclosure Consultant in Golden, CO (hybrid) to assess, investigate, and restore existing enclosure systems, including roofing, waterproofing, and facades.

You will manage projects from investigation through construction administration, mentor junior staff, review technical reports, and help clients extend the life of their buildings while delivering resilient, well-documented solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or related field.
PE license required.
5+ years in building enclosure consulting, structural engineering, or related areas.
Experience with roofing, waterproofing, façades, fenestration, or exterior walls.
Strong writing and report preparation experience.

Responsibilities

Investigate building enclosure issues across roofing, waterproofing, and wall systems.
Prepare condition assessment reports and restoration priorities.
Coordinate repair drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets for multiple projects.
Mentor junior staff and maintain client relationships.
