Job summary

The Company is seeking an experienced accounting leader in Knoxville to manage the full-cycle accounting process, close cycles, and monthly financial reporting. You will partner with the President and PE Controller to drive budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses while overseeing tax compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive accounting roles.
• Experience with AP, AR, GL, and close.
• Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance.
• Supervisory experience and staff development.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, close).
• Own month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly statements, variances, and management reports.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor working capital and cash flow; oversee collections and payables.
• Oversee multi-state sales tax compliance.
• Support ERP transition from QuickBooks to Dynamics in 2026.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide training.
• Support external audits and tax prep.
• Assist with onboarding acquired companies onto standardized processes.
