Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on, commercially oriented finance executive to lead the accounting and finance function in a growing, PE-backed professional services environment.

The role may carry the title of CFO, VP Finance, or Head of Finance, reporting to the CEO and partnering with the private equity sponsor to strengthen reporting, drive performance visibility, and enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience at CFO/VP level.
• Experience in project-based businesses.
• Knowledge of project accounting and revenue recognition.
• Experience building scalable finance processes and tools.
• Exposure to private equity or M&A integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
• Improve visibility into project profitability, labor utilization, margins, cash flow.
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, reporting capabilities, and the finance organization.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of financial systems and technology.
• Serve as trusted financial advisor to CEO and PE sponsor.
• Support acquisition analysis, due diligence, and integration of acquired businesses.
• Develop and mentor the finance team.
