Job summary

Apogee is seeking a PDI Workshop Engineer for our Lincoln workshop. The role focuses on preparing photocopiers and printers before delivery, including assembly, configuring, testing and packing to high standards.

Responsibilities include unboxing devices, installing accessories, upgrading firmware, calibrating equipment, applying Apogee settings and ensuring customer specifications are met. Experience in technical production environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on technical or production environments.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow defined processes and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Capable of working independently and managing workload.
• Physical fitness for moving and assembling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unboxing and assembling multifunction printers and photocopiers
• Installing accessories and peripherals
• Upgrading firmware and software
• Initialising and calibrating devices
• Applying manufacturer and Apogee settings
• Configuring equipment to customer specifications
• Testing functionality and ensuring quality standards
• Preparing devices for transport and delivery
• Completing paperwork and updating internal systems
