Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for the Progressive Care/Telemetry PCU on the 6th floor. The unit handles a wide variety of multisystem patients, with telemetry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in telemetry/PCU or acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge needs.
• Formulate a plan of care with goals in collaboration with patient/family.
• Implement the plan and supervise nursing care in accordance with policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document assessment, plan and outcomes in the patient record.
