Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-bed PCU with day shifts (3x12 hours) and rotating weekends/holidays. This full-time role offers an $10,000 sign-on bonus and an 18% night differential where applicable.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and experience in acute care settings. This is a general PCU unit, telemetry monitored, with new equipment and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge needs.
• Develop and implement a plan of care in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise care activities.
• Document assessments, plans, and patient responses in medical records.
• Communicate with physicians and care team to coordinate medical treatment.
