First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You choose the shifts that fit your life and schedule, with competitive per diem pay and flexible working options.

Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Responsabilités
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
- Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
- Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
