First Choice Nurses in Virginia is hiring experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads. You can pick up shifts that fit your life and work schedule.

This role offers competitive per diem pay, flexible scheduling, and fast daily/weekly pay options. You’ll work in acute-care hospital environments with a focus on patient care and collaboration with medical teams.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
