First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Telemetry RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You’ll choose shifts that fit your life, with competitive pay and options for daily or weekly payment.

Qualified candidates must hold an active Virginia RN license with at least 2 years of recent PCU experience, plus current BLS, ACLS, and TB testing. Vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions in PCU/telemetry units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments
