Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Telemetry RNs for per diem hospital shifts in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Earn $56.25-$57.25/hour with the freedom to pick shifts that fit your schedule.

Active Virginia RN license and 2 years PCU experience required, plus BLS/ACLS and TB test within the last year. COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is also required. Per diem, flexible scheduling, and weekly/daily pay options offered.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
