Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Progressive Care team in Colorado. The role involves direct patient care in an on-site PCU with day/night rotation.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and participate in ongoing education and precepting for new staff. Minimum requirements include RN licensure, ICU/PCU experience or UCHealth Fellowship, and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship program.
• BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS cards must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Model proficiency through precepting new staff and learners.
