Job summary

First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Choose your own schedule, with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options, to take control of your calendar.

Per diem RNs enjoy competitive pay, daily or weekly pay options, and the flexibility to work as little as one shift per month. You’ll provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings while maintaining clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License and current clinical credentials.
• BLS and ACLS current per credentialing.
• TB test within the past 12 months and vaccination status.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
