First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can choose shifts you want, from 7a-7p to 7p-7a, with flexible scheduling and the option to work as little as one shift per month.

Per diem RNs enjoy competitive pay, daily and weekly payout options, and easy mobile scheduling. This role offers hospital-based opportunities and local staffing support from FCN.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required for PCU assignments.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining electronic medical records.
• Infection-control and patient-safety compliance.
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units as needed.
