First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia, with 7a–7p and 7p–7a options.

Enjoy control over your schedule, daily or weekly pay, and work in hospital environments with a responsive local team.

Requirements include active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience in the past 4 years, BLS and ACLS, QuantiFERON-TB Gold test in the last year, and COVID vaccination or an approved exemption.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
