First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with the freedom to work as little as one shift per month and daily/weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required; 2 years of PCU experience within past 4 years.
• AHA BLS certification current.
• AHA ACLS certification current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Responsabilités

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administering medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
