Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Shifts available are 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with the freedom to pick up shifts that fit your life.

Per diem RNs earn competitive pay and can choose to work as little as one shift per month, enjoy daily or weekly pay options, and schedule through a mobile system. Hospital-based opportunities with a responsive local team are available.

Qualifications

• Active RN with Virginia license and current BLS/ACLS.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience (within past 4 years).
• AHA BLS and ACLS current; QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in acute-care settings.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status; notify changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams; maintain EMR accuracy.
