Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shift options include 7a-7p and 7p-7a with the freedom to pick up shifts that fit your schedule.

Earn $56.25-$57.25 per hour with per diem pay options, flexible scheduling, and daily/weekly pay. Active Virginia RN license and recent PCU experience are required, with vaccination or approved exemption. Apply today to control your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
