Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking a PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Shifts available are 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with flexible scheduling and the option to pick shifts that fit your life.

Compensation is competitive per diem pay ($56.25-$57.25/hour) with daily/weekly pay options. Requirements include a Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience, current BLS/ACLS, and a recent TB test. Per diem work enables control over your schedule while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS current
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or exemption may be required

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
