First Choice Nurses (FCN) is hiring PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options and the freedom to pick the shifts that fit your life.

Earn $56.25–$57.25 per hour with daily or weekly pay options and hospital-based opportunities. You’ll join a locally owned team, with responsive scheduling support and flexible gapping to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current certification.
• AHA ACLS current certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
