First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, offering the freedom to pick up extra work or build a fuller schedule.

Formación

• Active Virginia RN License.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS Current.
• AHA ACLS Current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conocimientos

Active Virginia RN License

PCU nursing

2 years PCU experience

AHA BLS

AHA ACLS

QuantiFERON-TB Gold

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
