Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts are available 7a-7p and 7p-7a, offering the freedom to pick up when it fits your life.

Qualifications

Active Virginia RN license.
2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
Current BLS certification (AHA).
Current ACLS certification (AHA).
QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions in acute-care hospital settings.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
Administer medications and IV therapies as directed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
