First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts run 7a–7p and 7p–7a, and you can choose the shifts that fit your life. You decide when to work and build a flexible schedule with FCN.

Per diem pay is competitive, with daily and weekly pay options. You may pick up as few as one shift per month, and FCN has supported local staffing for over 15 years, offering responsive scheduling and hospital-based opportunities.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test result within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conhecimentos

PCU nursing experience

QuantiFERON-TB Gold
