First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p and 7p-7a, giving you the freedom to pick the schedule that fits your life.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer meds, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
