Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site position in Great Falls, MT. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care on a PCU/stepdown unit with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

You will work nights in a supportive environment with strong administrative backing and a culture of teamwork and compassion. Ideal candidates have recent PCU/ICU experience and Montana RN licensure.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Montana (or compact/endorsement)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or within 6 months)
• Post-graduate clinical practice in M/S with recent Critical Care or PCU/Stepdown experience
• BSN preferred
• Pediatric nursing experience desired
• Proficiency in basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or variably unstable patients on a PCU/stepdown unit.
• Manage a broad patient population including pre/post-PCI care, pacemaker placements, revascularization, and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration and intervene promptly using advanced assessment tools.
• Operate arterial/central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, titration IV pumps, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Serve as a floor clinical leader, precepting new staff and guiding LPNs and CNAs.
