MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, is seeking a Staff RN to join a hospital-based team. This role leverages your nursing education and hands-on patient care within a multidisciplinary approach and a journey toward excellence in nursing at MultiCare.

The position supports nights with a schedule of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts, alternating weekends. A BSN is preferred, and current WA RN license, BLS, and various certifications are required or encouraged to advance

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
