First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a options.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required with 2 years of PCU experience in past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Adhere to infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments
