First Choice Nurses is recruiting PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can select shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a, enabling a flexible schedule that fits your life.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing in past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required by facility

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and status changes
• Administering medications and IV therapies
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams
• Maintaining electronic medical records
• Following infection-control and safety standards
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments
